Meet the leadership team
Amy Crawford
Amy is the Chief Executive Officer of Avado. She is responsible for the design and development of Avado’s product portfolio and the delivery of high-quality learning experiences, ensuring that Avado achieves learning outcomes and business impact for its clients and learners.
Amy has been with the business for over 8 years, having joined the leadership team just after Blenheim Chalcot acquired the business in 2011. Prior to Avado, Amy worked in mass participation sporting events, with a focus on product development and large scale, international operations management.
Dean Corbett
Dean is the Chief People Officer (CPO) of Avado and facilitates our culture of success and belonging, which includes delivery of a research-led, evidence-backed and progressive people plan – sometimes breaking “traditional HR” in the process.
Prior to joining Avado in July 2018, Dean held HR/People leadership roles at fashion-retailer Jack Wills and global healthcare provider, Bupa, having started his career in CRM Outsourcing and FMCG. A proponent of Positive Psychology and the impact of coaching on individual and organisational performance and wellbeing, Dean has an MSc in positive psychology and coaching psychology.
Richard Haynes
Richard is the Chief Commercial Officer of Avado. He is responsible for commercial strategy and execution through demand creation, business development and customer success teams.
He is a customer-focused operator with 15+ years’ experience drawn from a mixture of board level private equity management team roles, transformation consulting and strategic advisory. Prior to joining Avado in 2020, Richard has been responsible for designing and successfully executing profitable growth strategies across a range of sectors.
Stephen Hunt
Stephen is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Avado. He is responsible for the financial strategy, governance and compliance. He is an experienced CFO, having worked across a number of businesses at various stages of their life-cycles, from start-ups through to listed businesses.
Prior to joining Avado in September 2021, Stephen worked for a number of leading consumer tech businesses. supporting them during their growth. He also has a keen interest in education, having served as Chair of Governors at a local primary school.
